UPSC ESE 2023Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the time table for Engineering Services (ESE) Preliminary Examination 2023 on the official website- upsc.gov.in. The exam will be conducted on February 19, 2023 in two shifts. Along with the timetable, the commission has also released the code numbers for various subjects- civil, electrical, mechanical and electric and telecom engineering.

UPSC ESE 2023: Exam will be conducted in two shifts

For General Studies and Engineering Aptitude Paper (Paper-I) (Objective) in the first shift will be held between 10 am to 12 noon, the second shift for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Telecom Engineering (Discipline-specific paper – II Objective) will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM. Soon as per the next notification by the commission, the admit card for the exam will be issued in digital format.

UPSC ESE 2023: This will be the exam pattern

In the examination to be held in Shift One, candidates will be tested for their ability in General Studies and Engineering Aptitude, consisting of objective type questions. This paper will be of 200 marks. At the same time, the second paper will be in the second shift, in which the knowledge of the candidates in the main subjects will be tested. This part will be of maximum 300 marks. Both the papers will be conducted in offline mode.
