Some important changes have happened this year:

• Each question will be of 2 marks: In the CBT of the previous GD constable recruitments, each question asked to the candidates was of one mark. But now each mark in this exam will be of two marks. That is, 80 questions of 160 marks will be asked from the candidates. In this exam candidates will be asked 20 questions of 40 marks from General Intelligence and Reasoning, 20 questions of 40 marks from General Knowledge and General Awareness, 20 questions of 40 marks from Elementary Mathematics and 20 questions of 40 marks from English/Hindi.
• Time limit has changed: In the CBT of GD Constable Recruitment, candidates used to get 90 minutes to solve the questions earlier. But the commission has made a significant change in this too this year. Actually, the candidates participating in this recruitment will now get only 60 minutes to solve all the questions in the CBT.
• Now there will be negative marking of so many marks: The system of negative marking in the CBT of GD constable recruitment has been implemented from its previous recruitment. Earlier, 0.25 marks of candidates were deducted for each wrong answer in this exam, but in the CBT of GD Constable Recruitment 2022, 0.50 marks of candidates would be deducted for each wrong answer.
• There has also been a change in the age limit: SSC has announced a relaxation of three years in the maximum age limit for this recruitment to the candidates due to the corona pandemic. This relaxation will be applicable to all categories of candidates.
