The physical standards prescribed for the post of constable are ,

1) Height:
For Male: 170 cms.
For Women: 157 cms.
2) Chest:

For men and women: Height and age ratio as per medical standards.

4) Race (Running):
For Male : 5 kms. in 24 minutes.

The SSC Constable GD Syllabus of Exam Pattern and Written Test is as follows:

• The written test will be of objective type multiple choice.

General Intelligence and Logic: Analytical aptitude and ability to spot and distinguish patterns will be tested through core questions of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on similarities, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relational concepts, arithmetic reasoning and figurative classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc. Huh.

General Knowledge and General Awareness: The questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. The questions will be designed to test the knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person.
