Keep these things in mind before Tier-1 exam

• SSC will release the admit card for CGL Tier-1 in the last week of November before the exam in December. Which you can download by visiting the official website of SSC.
• Students must produce at least one valid document (as on date) and original photo identity proof at the venue on the day of examination. This document includes print out of Aadhaar Card/e-Aadhaar, Voter ID Card, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Service ID Card issued to employees by Central Government/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings, University/College/School Issued ID Card, Ex-Servicemen Discharge Book issued by Ministry of Defence, any other photo identity proof issued by Central Government / State Government etc. can be carried.
• In case of mismatch in the date of birth mentioned in the admission certificate and photo ID proof/certificate brought for date of birth, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
• Candidate should have two copies of color photograph.
• Prohibited items such as watches, books, pens, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets, mobile phones, headphones, scanners, calculators, storage devices, etc. are not allowed in the examination hall. If any such article is found with any candidate in the examination hall, his/her candidature is liable to be canceled and legal/criminal proceedings can be initiated against him/her. He may also be debarred from appearing in future examinations of the Commission as per extant rules.
• There will be video surveillance in the examination lab.
• Candidates are advised to avoid talking to other candidates or indulging in any improper act.
• The candidature of the candidate is purely provisional. It is advised that the candidates should check with themselves that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. If it is found at any stage that the candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
• The candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination only at the venue specified in the Admission Certificate.
• Candidates will be allowed inside the venue only half an hour before each shift.
• Candidate will have to go through the process of checking and ensure that their biometric registration is complete before entering the examination hall. The candidate will not be allowed to leave the examination venue after the biometric registration is complete.
