South Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2022: Indian Railway has taken out bumper recruitment while giving new year gift to the youth. The new year is being started by the Railways with providing employment to 10th pass youth. South Eastern Railway has taken up this task. South Eastern Railway has invited online applications for recruitment to the post of Apprentice in Workshop and other establishments.

The application process will be started on the official website of South Eastern Railway at rrcser.co.in. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from January 3. As per the recruitment notification issued by South Eastern Railway, applications will be accepted till February 2, 2023. South Eastern Railway aims to fill 1785 Apprentice posts in various trades through this recruitment drive.

Eligibility Criteria for Railway Recruitment

Age Range : Applicant candidates must be in the age limit between 15 years to 24 years as on January 1, 2023. However, upper age limit is relaxable by five years in case of SC/ST candidates, three years in case of OBC candidates and 10 years in case of Physically Handicapped candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualifications
Applicant candidates should have Matriculation i.e. Class 10th pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board and ITI pass certificate granted by NCVT/ SCVT. ITI pass certificate of the trade in which the apprentice is to be done.

SER Recruitment Selection Process & Application Fee

The selection in South Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment will be based on the merit list (trade-wise) prepared in respect of all the candidates who applied against the notification in the respective trades. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in each trade with minimum 50% aggregate marks obtained in Matriculation. In this recruitment, applicants general and OBC candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 100. However, no application fee will be applicable for SC/ST/PWD and women candidates.
