Mode Of Selection

Shortlisting-cum-interaction will be used to decide the mode of selection.

Shortlisting: The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted (subject to availability) and called for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for interview will be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Interview: Interview will be of 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Mere meeting the minimum qualification and experience will not confer any right on the candidate to be called for interview.

Merit List: The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of marks obtained in interview only. If more than one candidate obtains the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates

Apart from the contract amount and other details mentioned above, the IO will not be entitled for any other perquisites/facilities/benefits etc. from the Bank.

• Candidates will have to register themselves online through the link available on SBI website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers and pay the application fee.
  Using Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card etc.
• Candidates should first scan their latest photograph and signature. The online application will not be registered unless the candidate uploads his/her photograph and signature as specified in the online
  Registration page (Please see Para G-E-vi as well as Para G-B-ii and Para G-C-V under ‘How to Upload Documents’).
• Candidates should fill the application carefully. Once the application is completely filled, the candidate should submit it. In case a candidate is not able to fill the application in one go, he/she can save the information already entered. When the information/application is saved, a Provisional Registration Number and Password is generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Note down the candidate registration number and password. They can reopen the saved application using registration number and password and edit details if required, but only three times. SBI CBO Recruitment 2021 Age Limit

Mode Of Selection

The selection process consists of online written test, screening and interview.
SBI CBO Recruitment 2021 Online Written Test:
The online written test will consist of objective tests for 120 marks and 50. will consist of descriptive tests for
scar. to be administered immediately after the conclusion of the descriptive test
objective test and candidates will have to type their answers to the descriptive test
computer.
(i) Objective Test: The duration of the objective test is of 2 hours and consists of 4 sections
Total 120 marks. There will be separate timing for each section.

Descriptive Test: The duration of the descriptive test is 30 minutes. it will be a test of
English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions of total 50 marks.
State wise and category wise merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks
Scored in Online Written Test. There will be no sectional qualifying marks. Candidate
State wise and category wise number of vacancies will be up to 3 times (approx.)
shortlisted for screening from the top of the merit list prepared state wise and category wise
subject to the candidate obtaining the minimum aggregate qualifying marks, as decided by the
Bank.
Penalty for wrong answers:
There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Test.

Sectional marks will not be maintained for online written tests.

Screening: The online applications and documents of the shortlisted candidates on the basis of performance in the online examination will be placed before the Screening Committee.
Screening Committee constituted by the Bank will examine whether the candidates meet the required eligibility criteria of experience. The committee will match the job profile submitted by the candidates (attested by their present/previous employer with whom they are working) with the job profile of Scale-I Generalist Officer of State Bank of India. In case their job profile does not substantially match or is different from the job profile of Scale-I Generalist Officer of State Bank of India, the candidate’s application will be summarily rejected. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final and binding on all the candidates. No representation or correspondence will be entertained by the Bank in this regard. Candidates meeting the essential experience as decided by the Screening Committee will be called for interview.

Interview:
The interview will be of 50 marks. Candidates will have to obtain minimum qualifying marks in Interview to be considered for final selection. Minimum qualifying marks will be decided
Candidates who are qualified by the Bank for interview under ‘OBC’ category will have to submit an OBC certificate containing ‘Non-creamy layer clause’. Candidates who have registered
themselves as OBC but do not submit OBC ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ certificate and request for interview under general category will not be considered. Candidates who qualify for interview under EWS category will have to submit EWS
Certificate issued on the basis of gross annual income for the financial year 2020-21 as per the guidelines of DoPT. Candidates who have registered themselves as EWS but do not submit EWS
As per the guidelines of DoPT, certificate issued on the basis of gross annual income for the financial year 2020-21 and requests for interview under general category will not be considered.
