PM Modi Diwali Gift Rozgar Mela : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give a big gift to the youth on Diwali. PM Modi will launch ‘Rojgar Mela’, a campaign to recruit 10 lakh people through video conferencing on October 22 and appointment letters will also be given to 75,000 candidates during the ceremony. The PMO on Thursday said that this will be a significant step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s continued commitment to provide employment opportunities to the youth and ensure the welfare of citizens.

Jobs will be available in 38 ministries and allied departments of the Government of India

The statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that as per the recent directions given by Modi, all the ministries and departments are working towards filling the existing vacancies against the sanctioned posts in “mission mode”. The selected new recruitments from across the country will be done in 38 Ministries of the Government of India and their affiliated departments. The appointees will join the government at various levels in Group A and B (Gazetted), Group B (Non-Gazetted) and Group C. The posts for which the recruitment is being done include the posts of Central Armed Forces Personnel, Sub-Inspector, Constable, LDC, Steno, PA, Income Tax Inspector and MTS among others.

Recruitment is being done through agencies

These recruitments are being done by Ministries and Departments either on their own or through recruitment agencies like UPSC, SSC and Railway Recruitment Boards. The PMO said that the selection process has been simplified and made technically competent for faster recruitment.
