Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Fair: To encourage employment opportunities for the youth, under the National Skill Development Scheme, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) will organize the Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Fair i.e. Pradhan Mantri at 197 locations in 25 States and Union Territories tomorrow i.e. December 12, 2022 National Apprenticeship Fair (PMNAM) will be organized.
Many local businesses have been invited to these fairs, with an aim to give the local youth the right direction for their career through apprenticeship. Many companies from various sectors will also participate in this event. The candidates participating in the fair will also be given a certificate by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), which will improve their employment opportunities.
National Apprenticeship Mela: These documents will be required
If any youth want to apply for these, they have to register themselves on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and find out the nearest location of the mela. To participate in this Apprenticeship Fair, candidates must have passed class 5th to 12th, Skill Training Certificate/ ITI Diploma or Graduation.
Candidates will have to carry three copies of their Resume, three copies of all mark sheets and certificates, photo identity proof (Aadhar Card/Driving License etc.) and three passport size photographs to the fair. Wherein, the candidates who have already enrolled themselves are requested to reach the venue along with all their relevant documents.

National Apprenticeship Mela: Target of 10 lakh apprenticeships this year

Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship said that the country is compared to developed countries in terms of apprenticeship opportunities for the youth. To bridge this gap, we are trying to provide maximum opportunities for apprenticeship. We have received a great response from the last month’s fairs. We have to reach 10 lakh apprenticeship opportunities by this year and 60 lakh by 2026. Apprenticeship fairs are organized every month in the country, in which selected candidates get monthly stipend as per government norms.
