Educational Qualifications-

To be eligible for direct recruitment, a candidate must be –

• Post Graduate degree in the concerned broad specialty or any other equivalent degree or qualification prescribed by MCI/NMC from time to time.
• Candidates who have undergone Diplomate National Board training in the concerned subject are also eligible for the post of Assistant Professor, provided they fulfill any other criteria prescribed by MCI/NMC from time to time in respect of Diplomate National Board .
• Candidates who have been appointed as Assistant Professor in Medical College without experience as SR as per previous guidelines prior to 08.06.2017 are required to apply for Assistant Professor in any other Medical College as SR One year experience will not be required.
• Candidates who are already working as Asst. Professors who have passed SR ship before 08.06.2017, they are exempted from the requirement of one year teaching experience in the concerned subject.
