eligibility to apply

12th pass candidates or candidates appearing for 12th class examination can apply for NDA exam. However, candidates studying in class 12 can only apply for the Army wing of the National Defense Academy. If you want to apply in Airforce, Navy and Naval Academy, then you must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

Age Range

The age limit to apply for this exam is 16.5 years to 19.5 years. Only unmarried male and female candidates can apply for this exam. Those born not earlier than 2 July 2004 and not later than 1 July 2007 are eligible to apply.

Two papers are conducted in the NDA exam. Mathematics and General Ability Test. Mathematics paper is of 300 marks and GAT paper is of 600 marks.
