Join Indian Army Recruitment Agniveer Bharti Rules Changed: Army has released notification on amendment in recruitment process for Agniveers and others. The notification for registration has been uploaded on the Join Indian Army website. The Defense Ministry said in a statement that the online registrations for applications are now open from February 16 to March 15, 2023, where candidates can apply as per their age, educational qualification, physical standards and other eligibility requirements.
Indian Army has announced changes in the recruitment process for “Junior Commissioned Officer/Other Rank/Agniveer”. As per the revised recruitment process, a Computer Based Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) will be conducted before the Recruitment Rally. The Army had recently advertised in various newspapers regarding the change in procedure. Now the army recruitment process will be completed in three phases.

In the first phase, all the candidates who have registered and applied online on the website will have to undergo CEE. In phase two, the shortlisted candidates will be called for recruitment rally at the venue to be decided by the respective Army Recruiting Offices (AROs), where they will undergo physical fitness test and physical measurement test, the statement said.

Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment will have medical test in the third phase

Finally in phase three, selected candidates will have to undergo medical test. The computer-based online CEE is planned to be held from April 17 to 30 at 175 to 180 test centers across India. The ministry said that educational videos on ‘How to register’ and ‘How to appear’ in the online entrance test have been uploaded on the Join Indian Army website and YouTube.

Rs 250 application fee for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment Entrance Exam

The application fee for the online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) is Rs 500 per candidate, however, 50 per cent of the application fee will be borne by the Indian Army. During online registration of application candidates have to pay Rs.250. They may also give five options to appear in the online CEE. The changed process will focus on enhanced cognitive aspects during recruitment and result in a wider and better reach across the country, the statement said.

The decision will also reduce large gatherings at recruitment rallies and administrative commitments in their conduct, besides reducing the number of candidates going for medical examination, the statement said. This process will become more streamlined, easier to execute and routine easier practice keeping in mind the current technology.
