The 24-year-old Kishan completed his century in 85 balls. Kishan reached his double century in just 126 balls and his innings included 23 fours and nine sixes.

This meant that he went ahead of Chris Gayle’s record. Gayle scored his double century in just 138 balls against Zimbabwe during the 2015 World Cup in Australia.
