Indian Post Office GDS Selection Process : Selection will be done as per automatically generated merit list and also as per rules on the basis of online submitted applications of the candidate.

Only marks obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards rounded off to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. Passing in all subjects as per the norms of the concerned Board is mandatory for the candidate to be taken into account for calculation of merit.

If the candidates obtain the same marks, the merit order will be taken as DOB (higher age as qualifying), ST Female, SC Female, OBC Female, UR Female, ST Male, SC Male, OBC Male, UR Male .
