The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started conducting the CTET exam for the candidates preparing to become government teachers in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools and various government schools in the central and state schools of the country. For the first two days, the examination was conducted for 2 lakh 59 thousand candidates at 243 examination centers in 74 cities. This examination started from 28 December 2022 will continue till 7 February 2023 on different dates. For which 32.45 lakh candidates have registered from across the country. CBSE had issued the admit cards on December 26 for this examination being conducted in two shifts for CTET candidates. Guidelines for the candidates

  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination center without the admit card
  • Candidates coming to the examination center will have to bring Aadhaar Card, Driving License or Voter ID Card. So that the date of birth and address can be confirmed.
  • Candidates will also have to bring their own water bottle, mask, sanitizer, gloves, etc. to the exam center.

Paper 1 has to be given by the candidates preparing to become a teacher from class I to class V. In which questions of 150 marks are asked. A candidate needs 60 percent marks to be successful. On the other hand, candidates preparing to become teachers for class 6th to 8th have to answer 150 questions in Paper 2. In this exam too, success can be achieved by securing 60 percent marks. The answer key will be released by CBSE after the conduct of CTET exam. In which the final result will be released after the objections are registered.
