Age Limit

• No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if he is below 18 years of age as on 01.07.2021 and if he is above 35 years of age.
• For in-service contract workers working in APDISCOMS, age at the time of entry into the organization as contract worker will be considered.
• Relaxation in the upper age limit up to 5 years is allowed for SC/ST and OBC candidates.

Mode Of Selection

• Evaluation will be done on a scale of 100 marks with a maximum of 80 marks for aggregate marks obtained in SSC and a maximum of 20 marks for experience in service as contract worker in APDISCOMs @ 1 mark for each completed 6 month period.
• Candidates have to appear for the following tests at Circle Head Quarters :
• pole climbing
• meter reading
• cycling

Pay Scale

On selection and appointment the candidates will be paid Rs. 15,000/- per month as consolidated pay for a period of 2 years.

Educational Qualifications

SSC / 10th Class with ITI Qualification in Electrical Trade / Wireman Trade or equivalent with Intermediate Vocational Course in Electrical Domestic Appliances & Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring & Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW&SEA) Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) or from a recognized Institute/Board.
